FUNDING
Mental Health America is a
charitable, not-for-profit organization that relies heavily upon
the financial support of the community. Since the MHA is
recognized as a 501(c)(3), all donations are
tax-deductible to the full extent of the law.
Funding for the programs and services
provided by Mental Health America comes from a variety of sources, the
most important being the United Way and United Fund organizations within
Sheboygan County. The MHA receives allocations from the
following:

-
Oostburg Area
United Fund
-
Greater Random Lake/Adell United Fund
-
United Way of Sheboygan Falls
-
Cedar Grove United Fund
-
Sheboygan
and Plymouth Area United Way
Other important
sources of funding include memberships by “Friends of Mental Health
America,” grants and foundations, as well as donations from the public.
Would you like to
financially support the work of the MHA? There are many areas in which your
contribution will make a difference.
