It is with deep gratitude I write my last message as Executive Director of Mental Health America in Sheboygan County. I am so very thankful for the team of staff, board members, volunteers, community partners, donors, and those we support. For the forever friendships I have made. For the heart breaking stories I've been so carefully entrusted and the heart felt triumphs I've witnessed. For the love our community holds for mental health and the work we do investing in people. I am thankful for you. For hope. I am also thankful for change. I am grateful for challenges, transitions, and the world spinning madly on. I am so excited to announce MHA has found my replacement,
Julie Preder. Julie brings to the team her experience in mental health education and suicide prevention work. She brings her own authenticity, story, skills, and heart. I look forward to continuing to support MHA during this transition and I hope/know you all do, too. I have gratitude for Julie accepting her new role and look forward to watching MHA continue to thrive. You are all a piece of this and I know Julie looks forward to meeting you all and doing great things, continuing to invest in people and our community.
Thank you, again, for entrusting me to be such an integral part of this organization. My life is forever better off having worked here. Keep soaring MHA! I know you will.
