Welcome to the first Mindful Monday in this new month. Each year, November brings opportunities to practice gratitude, generosity, togetherness, and other mindful moments as we begin to experience the holidays. Mindfulness allows us to be fully present as this time of year begins, fostering greater happiness and enjoyment of what is going on around us.
Many of us practice gratitude on Thanksgiving Day, but making it a habit throughout the entire month can help us to become happier and more positive. This week, we would like to share a number of resources for you to make gratitude your attitude for the month of November!
- The Greater Good Happiness Calendar focuses on gratitude and positivity this month!
- These "Practices for Grateful Living" provided by gratefulness.org cover a number of topics, including a number of practices from Brother David Steindl-Rast, OSB, a favorite among the MHA Mindfulness Team.
- This article from Happify highlights the benefits of practicing gratitude and provides a few ways we can bring it into our lives on a daily basis.
We wish you a month of gratitude and happiness!
Be you. Be well. Be mindful.
